“Saneeya depicts a strong sense of dichotomy in her paintings. The opposing characters found in her works, for instance the bull and the lion, the hunter and wild birds, symbolize the duality present in our society. The opposition does not necessarily need to oppress, oppositions can learn to exist in peace. Dichotomy challenges and teaches us how to live with the other and this is what the artist is trying to confront.”
